Job Description
As a Senior SAP Transportation Management Consultant, you will be responsible for managing SAP TM projects. Providing expert guidance and leadership to our team of consultants and delivering high-quality solutions that meet our client’s business objectives. You will work closely with clients to understand their transportation and logistics requirements, design customized solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications & skills
- Minimum of 6 years of SAP TM projects experience.
- Minimum two End-to-end Transportation implementation projects with a hands-on role.
- Understanding of Transportation Management Business environments of Shippers, Retailers and/or Logistics Service Providers.
- Hands-on experience in preparing business solution documents (AS-IS,To-be) process flow design, and functional specifications.
- Hands on experience in Cut over-activity and UAT activity.
- Hands-on experience in Shipper/freight forwarder scenarios for order management, planning, carrier selection, tendering, execution, settlement, Dispute management group logistics, LBN-freight collaboration, LBN-GTT scenarios, etc.,
- SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and/or LES (Logistics Execution and Services) expertise is very beneficial.
- Exposure in SAP EM, EWM/WM would be an added advantage, should have an understanding of TM Technical objects. (BOBT)
- TM Certified associate will be preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all team members and client.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Lead and participate in all phases of SAP TM implementation projects, including blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Work closely with clients to gather business requirements, identify gaps, and recommend best practices for SAP TM solution design.
- Configure SAP TM modules according to business requirements, ensuring optimal system performance and usability.
- Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for custom development and integration with other SAP modules or third-party systems.
- Provide expertise and guidance on SAP TM functionalities, including transportation planning, freight order management, carrier selection, tendering, and tracking.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions for end-users and project team members.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during project implementation and post-go-live support phases.
- Stay updated on SAP TM product releases, new features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership and support as needed.
