Job Title: Human Resource Head

Location: Bangalore

Position Overview:The Human Resource Head will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support SCMYUGA’s growth objectives and enhance organizational effectiveness. Reporting directly to the COO, the HR Head will lead a team and work closely with senior management to attract, develop, and retain top talent and foster a positive and inclusive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Improvise existing HR strategies and bring in new policies, and programs aligned with SCMYUGA’s business goals and values.

Lead the recruitment and talent acquisition process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent across various functions and levels.

Improvise and bring in best practices for  performance management systems and processes to assess, recognize, and develop employee performance and potential.

Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees.

Improvise and implement existing compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with market standards and budgetary constraints.

Drive employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs, to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, fostering a culture of belonging and respect where all employees can thrive and contribute their best.

Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, promoting professional development, collaboration, and accountability.

Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws, regulations, and best practices, maintaining HR policies and practices that mitigate risks and liabilities.



Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that drive organizational success.

Extensive experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration.

Strategic mindset, with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives and adapt to changing priorities and environments.

Knowledge of relevant labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
