Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Lead Consultant with 6-8 years of experience in SAP EWM implementations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both decentralized and embedded EWM deployments, with at least two full-cycle implementation projects completed. The consultant should have a strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and be capable of leading solution design and implementation activities in a client-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP EWM implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Manage project delivery for both decentralized and embedded EWM deployments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Design and configure complex warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, internal movements, and physical inventory.
- Integrate EWM with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, TM) and legacy systems as needed.
- Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and project best practices.
- Lead and guide team members, provide knowledge transfer, and support issue resolution.
- Prepare documentation, conduct training sessions, and support go-live and post-go-live activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 6-8 years of experience in SAP EWM with deep understanding of warehouse processes.
- Experience in both decentralized and embedded SAP EWM deployments.
- Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP EWM implementation projects.
- Proficiency in SAP Activate methodology and experience working in agile/hybrid delivery models.
- Strong configuration experience in areas like warehouse structure, storage control, RF framework, wave management, and warehouse order creation.
- Ability to manage client relationships and lead workshops and solution discussions.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- SAP EWM Certification is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience with EWM integration with SAP TM or Yard Logistics.
- Knowledge of EWM automation (e.g., MFS, integration with conveyors and robotics).
