Job Description

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities by researching, networking, and reaching out to potential clients. You will drive the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, working to understand customer needs and presenting tailored software solutions to them. Your role will involve building strong, long-term client relationships to foster business growth and collaborating with internal teams to align on market strategies.

Qualifications & skills

  • 3 years of proven experience in B2B software/SaaS product sales. 
  • Strong understanding of the software sales lifecycle and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce). 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to understand technical product features and translate them into business value for customers. 
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. 

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business leads through research, networking, cold calling, and digital outreach. 
  • Understand customer needs and present tailored software product solutions. 
  • Conduct product demos and presentations for prospective clients. 
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle – from lead generation to deal closure. 
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term business growth. 
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and pre-sales teams to align on go-to-market strategies. 
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare periodic reports and forecasts. 
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs
